The Caravonica State School project was built by our Queensland based installation partners One Structure, in mid 2018. Speedfloor’s 1300m2 suspended slab was used in the construction of the school’s new multi-purpose hall.

In the preliminary stages of design, traditional formwork by the way of a bondek slab spanning between steel beams was used. A cost analysis and structural comparison between Speedfloor and the traditional methods was conducted. The results found that Speedfloor provided a saving of over 0,000 for the suspended slab. It also proved to reduce the cost of the overall project.
